01Who we are and how to contact us

This policy explains how Snow Line Ltd, trading as Go Swag (“we”, “us” and “our”), uses personal information when you visit select.goswag.com, use Go Swag Select, create an account, request a quote, submit artwork, place an order or contact our team. Snow Line Ltd is the controller responsible for this information. We are registered in Scotland under company number SC625939, at 16–18 Earl Haig Road, Hillington, Glasgow, Renfrewshire, Scotland, G52 4JU.

For privacy questions, requests or complaints, email hello@goswag.com with “Privacy” in the subject, write to our address above, or call 0800 118 4047. You do not need an account to contact us.

This policy is specific to Select. Other Go Swag websites and services may have their own notices. Where we handle recipient information solely on a business customer’s documented instructions, that customer is the controller and we act as its processor under the relevant agreement. We can help direct a recipient’s request to that customer.

02Information we collect

Contact and account information: your name, email address, telephone number, company, role, company website, billing and delivery addresses, account identifiers, sign-in and verification records, and preferences you choose to save.

Orders and artwork: product choices, quantities, garment sizes, prices, discounts, quotes, basket and checkout details, uploaded logos and files, saved designs, proofs, approval and revision history, delivery instructions, shipment tracking, and records of your agreement to sales terms. Artwork may contain personal information if you include it.

Payment information: payment status, transaction references, amounts, currency, billing details and any limited payment-method information returned by our payment provider. Card details are collected through Stripe’s payment service; Select does not receive or store your full card number or security code.

Communications: enquiries, support messages, chat conversations, attachments, feedback and our replies, including information needed to investigate a problem or process a request.

Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, request timestamps, security and error logs, and identifiers needed for sessions, baskets and preferences. Optional browsing and performance measurements are described below. We do not ask for precise GPS location.

Please avoid including sensitive personal information, identity documents or information unrelated to your order in artwork or messages. If you provide someone else’s details, make sure you have an appropriate basis to share them and let that person know about this policy.

03Where information comes from

We collect information directly from you when you use Select or contact us, and automatically through the site as described in this policy. We may also receive your details from a colleague or employer ordering on your behalf, an account administrator inviting you, or a person naming you as a delivery recipient.

Our payment, sign-in, support, production and delivery providers return information needed to run your account and fulfil your order, such as payment confirmation, verification, proof status and shipment updates. When you supply a company website to help us prepare branding, we may use publicly available business and brand information from that website.

04How we use information and our legal bases

Accounts, quotes and orders: we use the details needed to provide a requested quote, manage your account, prepare designs and proofs, take payment, manufacture and deliver goods, and handle returns or service enquiries. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract or performing our contract with you. Where you act for a business or are a delivery recipient, we rely on our legitimate interests in administering that business relationship and fulfilling its orders.

Security and service administration: we use authentication records, technical logs, support records and relevant order details to prevent fraud and misuse, troubleshoot problems, control access, maintain reliable services and resolve disputes. We rely on our legitimate interests in protecting customers and operating our business. We consider the impact on your rights and limit the information used to what is needed.

Customer relationship management: we keep contact details and relevant quote, order, artwork and service activity together so our team can respond consistently and avoid asking you to repeat information. We rely on our legitimate interests in managing enquiries and customer relationships. This does not automatically subscribe you to marketing.

Legal and accounting obligations: we retain and use relevant transaction and business records to meet tax, accounting and other legal duties, respond to lawful requests, and demonstrate compliance. Where we preserve records to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, we rely on our legitimate interests in protecting legal rights.

Optional analytics: we use your consent for optional browsing and performance analytics. You can refuse these or withdraw consent through Cookie settings without losing access to shopping or your account.

Marketing: where we send promotional messages, we use consent when required, or legitimate interests where the law permits business marketing or an existing-customer exception. Each marketing message must provide a way to opt out. Order confirmations, proof requests and other service messages are separate from marketing.

If information is needed for an account, quote, payment or delivery, we will not be able to provide that part of the service without it. Optional analytics and marketing choices are not conditions of purchase.

05Cookies, local storage and your choices

Cookies and similar browser storage help keep you signed in, remember your basket and designs, protect forms, maintain support conversations and save your privacy preferences. Some essential information is stored in your browser rather than in a cookie. Rejecting optional analytics does not disable the storage needed for these functions.

Optional browsing analytics help us understand visits, product choices, artwork milestones and checkout. Optional performance analytics help us understand page usage, loading speed and reliability. These categories remain off until you choose to allow them; you can choose them separately. Session recordings are an additional choice that also requires browsing analytics.

Use “Reject optional”, “Accept optional” or “Choose settings” in the privacy pop-up. You can reopen Cookie settings from the Select footer or this policy. We remember your choice for 180 days using the goswag-cookie-consent-v1 browser-storage entry, then ask again. Clearing browser storage or using another browser or device may cause us to ask again.

Withdrawing consent stops future optional tracking and clears the browsing analytics identifiers managed by our consent controls. It does not automatically erase information already lawfully collected; contact us if you also want to exercise a deletion right. Browser settings can block or remove cookies and local storage, although doing so may affect sign-in, baskets or support.

Browsing analytics use browser identifiers, session records and records that prevent counting the same returned purchase twice. A new analytics session starts after 30 minutes of inactivity; this is a session grouping rule, not a promise that all stored data is deleted after 30 minutes. Some local-storage entries persist until cleared or reset. Support and authentication providers also maintain session identifiers according to the service being used.

06Optional analytics providers and information

Mixpanel provides browsing analytics. With permission, it receives selected events such as page visits, product configuration, basket changes, artwork upload or save milestones, checkout progress and a browser-confirmed purchase. Event properties can include a public product identifier, quantity, value and currency, device category, a normalised page path, campaign tags and a referring website’s hostname.

Consented visits use a browser identifier. If you sign in, events may be associated with your internal account identifier; we do not send your email address as the analytics identity. These identifiers are pseudonymous rather than fully anonymous. We use Mixpanel’s EU hosting region for Select.

With your separate session-recording permission, Mixpanel records interactions, page layout, public text and public images on public browsing pages. Form entries are masked. Personal account details, customer logos and artwork, support conversations and embedded content are blocked. Checkout, account, artwork, order, support, admin and proof pages are excluded. Console and network recording are disabled. Previous browsing-analytics consent alone does not enable recordings. If you previously allowed fully masked recordings, we ask you to choose again before recording public text and images. We do not send artwork contents, form entries, payment-card details, raw search queries or private access links in analytics events. IP-based location enrichment is disabled. Receiving an internet request nevertheless exposes connection information to the service handling that request.

Vercel provides optional web analytics and speed measurements to help us understand page usage and performance. These can include page and device information and loading measurements. Essential hosting, request handling and security logs are separate from optional browser analytics and remain necessary to operate the site.

We use these measurements to improve Select and understand how it is used. Accepting sales terms or choosing to receive emails does not give analytics consent.

07Who we share information with

We give authorised team members and service providers access to the information needed for their work. Providers include Vercel for hosting and file services; database and storage providers for account, design and order records; WorkOS for authentication; Stripe for payments; Resend for service email; HubSpot for customer relationship records; and Intercom for customer support, including its Fin assistant. Mixpanel and Vercel receive optional analytics information only according to your choices.

HubSpot records can contain contact details and relevant branding submissions, quotes, account updates, payments, fulfilment and artwork review activity. Creating or updating a customer relationship record does not itself change your marketing preferences.

Production and fulfilment partners receive the order specifications, approved artwork and contact or delivery details needed to produce and ship your goods. Couriers receive delivery details and may send tracking updates. Professional advisers, accounting services and internal communication services may handle relevant records to support our business operations.

If you use a shared business account, authorised members or administrators may see information made available within that account, such as shared order or artwork records. Keep account access and private proof links secure.

We may disclose relevant information to authorities where required by law, to protect legal rights, or to advisers and prospective parties in a business sale or reorganisation under appropriate confidentiality protections. We do not sell personal information or share it with third parties for their own unrelated promotional purposes.

Providers acting as processors must handle information under our instructions and contractual protections. Some organisations, such as payment providers and couriers, may also act as independent controllers for their own fraud prevention, regulatory or delivery responsibilities. Their own privacy notices explain that processing.

08Support and automated assistance

Our support tools may use AI to answer questions and help our team resolve enquiries. Chat providers process the messages, attachments and conversation context you supply. Where you are signed in, support may receive your name, email and account identifier, and secure tools may retrieve relevant order information to answer your request.

We also use automated workflows to organise operational information and assist with customer service and order administration. Relevant enquiry, correspondence and order context may be processed by Anthropic to support AI-assisted operational workflows, alongside the support providers described above. Ask for help from our team if an automated response does not resolve your question.

We do not use optional browsing analytics to make solely automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you. Your artwork approval remains an explicit action; an automated support response is not your approval of a design or a change to your order.

09International processing

Our providers and their support teams may process information in the UK, the European Economic Area and other countries, including the United States. An EU hosting region does not necessarily mean that all support access or subprocessors are located in the EU.

Where a transfer is subject to UK or European data protection restrictions, we use an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, as relevant. Contact us for information about the safeguards that apply to a particular transfer or to request a copy, with confidential commercial information removed where necessary.

10How long we keep information

We keep personal information for the period needed for the purpose described in this policy, taking account of the type of record, the customer relationship, accounting duties, potential disputes and security needs. Different records have different lifetimes; closing an account or rejecting cookies does not automatically remove legal or transaction records.

Account details, saved artwork and designs are retained while needed to provide your account and saved library. Order specifications, proofs, approvals, invoices and payment records are retained where needed to fulfil orders, support enquiries and reorders, meet tax and accounting obligations, and establish or defend legal claims. We may need to retain an order’s artwork or approval evidence even if you remove a reusable design from your library.

Enquiries, customer relationship records and support conversations are kept for as long as needed to manage the enquiry or relationship, follow up agreed work and resolve related issues. Security logs are retained according to the investigation and protection needs they serve. Temporary files and drafts may expire earlier than saved or purchased work.

Privacy choices last 180 days. Analytics records are kept according to the applicable project retention settings and our need to analyse use of the service; the consent-choice period is not the analytics retention period. Contact us for the retention period applicable to a specific record or to request deletion.

When information is no longer required, we delete it or anonymise it. Copies in backups may remain until the backup is replaced or expires, with access restricted. Relevant information may be preserved longer where a legal obligation, investigation or dispute requires it.

11How we protect information

We use access controls, authenticated sessions, encrypted connections and operational safeguards designed to protect personal information. Access to private accounts, artwork and order records is restricted according to the service and user permissions. We limit access to those who need it.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. Use a strong, unique password, protect verification messages and private links, and sign out on shared devices. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use of your account or disclosure of your information.

12Your rights and complaints

Depending on the law that applies and the circumstances, you can request access to and a copy of your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction of processing, and transfer of information you supplied in a portable format. These rights are subject to legal conditions and exceptions.

You can object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your situation. You can object to direct marketing at any time. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Email hello@goswag.com to exercise a right or complain. We may ask for proportionate information to confirm your identity or understand your request. We normally respond to rights requests within one month, subject to lawful extensions or other adjustments; we will explain if these apply. Requests are normally free of charge.

You can complain directly to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/ or by calling 0303 123 1113. You do not have to complain to us first. If you are in the European Economic Area, you may also contact your local supervisory authority.

13Children and other websites

Select is intended for adults purchasing merchandise and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly solicit children’s personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can assess and address it.

Links to other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices. This policy does not cover how those organisations process information for their own purposes.

14Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to Select, our providers or legal requirements. The date at the top identifies the latest version. Where a change requires additional notice or a new consent choice, we will provide it. You can download the current policy for your records.
